"Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst" - Henri Cartier-Bresson


Sharing photos taken by oneself, for me at least, is a very confrontational exercise. I compare it to the act of playing a mix tape for a relative stranger - it exposes your inner machinations and feelings, giving others the opportunity to condemn parts of you normally hidden away. It can be a deal breaker. Yet with that risk, there is also the potential that those you show your mix tape will love and embrace it - and in turn share it with others. On occasion this sharing may prompt an act of reciprocity and expose yourself to wonderful music or ideas not previously considered.

This page is a chance for me to take that risk and put what I have produced on display. Hopefully some of it will be appreciated, perhaps it will help me learn. As an individual with an underdeveloped right cerebral hemisphere I certainly hope that is the case. Taking photos has opened my eyes and helped me realise how much more there is to see.
